A proper shave is an art that can’t be rushed. We use three successive hot eucalyptus towels, badger-hair lather brushes, and a single hand-stropped Japanese steel blade.

A steaming botanical towel infused with eucalyptus and tea tree opens the pores and softens tough facial hair.
Hand-whipped tallow and shea butter shaving cream massaged into the skin with a warm badger brush to lift whiskers.
Two passes with a surgical-grade Japanese straight razor—first with the grain for comfort, then across for smoothness.
An iced rosewater towel closes the pores, followed by our house-distilled bay rum aftershave balm to soothe skin.
